Wire Trip Stainless Steel Wire Deterrent is the perfect solution for protecting your window ledges from possible pest bird activity.

NB: Should your property incorporate window ledges of more than 2,5m in length each, this DIY solution will not be suitable for you, and a specialised installation by our skilled team will be required. Wire Trip Stainless Steel Wire Deterrent consists of a series of very thin self-tensioning stainless steel monofilament strands, supported on stainless steel posts or by hammer drive anchors, which are fixed to the surface. These strands are then run in rows parallel to each other, with tension introduced by means of specially manufactured stainless steel springs in order to maintain elasticity and reduce the risk of breakage of the strand.

This particular kit will provide you with stainless steel hammer drive anchors to be installed to the reveal on each side of the window ledge, as well as a sealant, which is used to properly seal all holes drilled into the reveal for the stainless steel hammer drive anchors, in order to prevent the ingress of water.

The kit will comprise sufficient materials to install a total of two (2) strands of Wire Trip Stainless Steel Wire Deterrent to the window ledge, in order to prevent birds from soiling the window ledge and areas below.

Our Wire Trip Stainless Steel Wire Deterrent is available in 10m, 25m, 50m, 100m standard kit sizes for window ledges, and comes with a one (1) year warranty against material defects.
